Backend Engineer @ Marple (startup)

Full details: https://www.marpledata.com/careers/backend-engineer-2024

About us

Marple is a startup based in Antwerp, Belgium. We are a product-focused company, building visualisation software for large time series datasets.

Our customers are top engineering teams that win motorsport championships, develop electrical planes, design new electrical engines and make hyperloop a real thing in Europe.

Performance is a continuous challenge in our product. A typical use case has datasets at 200Hz, 2000 channels, for 1 hour. That means that one such dataset contains 1.4B data points. We allow visualising multiple of these - all the while keeping the UI experience smooth. This makes coding new features certainly not easy, but very interesting.
